Trenchless Morocco will be hosted in the capital, Rabat, a city undergoing significant urban development and major investment in underground infrastructure, including the expansion and modernisation of water, wastewater, drainage, energy and telecommunications networks.

As Morocco continues to prioritise resilient, sustainable and low-disruption infrastructure delivery, underground construction methods, including No-Dig and trenchless approaches, are playing an increasingly important role in supporting network performance while minimising impact on cities and communities.

Rabat’s position as the administrative capital also provides close proximity to key public institutions, including national utilities and government ministries, supporting engagement from public authorities, asset owners and decision-makers involved in infrastructure planning and delivery.

The city is also home to leading academic and engineering institutions, including Université Internationale de Rabat (UIR), École Nationale d’Architecture (ENA), Université Mohammed VI and École Mohammadia d’Ingénieurs (EMI), reinforcing Rabat’s role as a centre for engineering excellence and infrastructure development.
